WHERE IT BEGINS
As a child, I was deeply sensitive and anxious, interpreting life through colors, symbols, and strong inner feelings. I found an early sanctuary in nature and imagined worlds where I would spend countless hours with a pencil, obsessively drawing dancing ballerinas and swordswomen. Growing up, I became a quiet and introspective teenager. In school, I was often viewed as strange. Even though I frequently felt misunderstood, bewildered, and wronged, I led what most would call a normal childhood on the outside. But within, I felt everything with immense intensity that I would search for in other areas of my life.
For a long time, I kept my inner life and this knowledge close to me in silence. Much of it remains hidden. My life shifted profoundly in 2016 due to a life-altering experience. Years later, this event had initiated me into becoming what is known as a Cunning Woman, a Wise Woman, or a völva. Today, I walk between worlds and work with an ancient form of magic called seiðr. This path requires crossing into other realms, acquiring knowledge from beings that exist beyond ordinary sight, and communicating with them alongside my allies in the Otherworld.
My practice is entirely private. I am not a commercial practitioner, and I do not sell spellwork, rituals, or divination, as I operate solely on resonance.
My artwork is the direct extension of this path. It is a slow and deeply immersive process. It often takes over a year of silence and focus to finish a painting or talisman. Every layer of paint holds the raw energy of the Otherworld, left there for those who are meant to feel it.
Right now, we as a people and as a world are undergoing a period of transitional evolution and remembrance. I feel that we are shifting back to an animist culture, a time when humans work in cooperation with nature and all that surrounds us. I recognize that the true healer lies within each of us. While others can assist on our journey, the primary work is done by ourselves through the spirit. It is already within you.
